In 1929, Mario Rapelli opened a butcher’s shop in the heart of the idyllic village of Stabio, in the Ticino. On doing so, he laid the foundations for Rapelli’s success story, which is rooted in the combination of Italian recipes, Ticino tradition and state of-the-art technology. From the very beginning, Rapelli set new standards in the spheres of production and innovation.

Nowadays, Rapelli presents a wide portfolio of products that treats the modern-day consumer to prime-quality delicatessen specialities all the year round and at any time of the day. It includes such culinary highlights as tasty risotto, genuine polenta and the finest of pasta. Authentic antipasti or new interpretations of prepared meats, such as Carpaccio or Vitello tonnato, round off the range.

With its Rapelli and Ticinella brands, the company is successfully pursuing a course of expansion.
